CWL London

Call of Duty World League, Presented by PlayStation 4, was hosted by Gfinity, the third open event of the 2019 Call of Duty World League season. The event took place at the 7,500 capacity Copper Box Arena in London running 3rd-5th May!

The tournament has transitioned into a new five-versus-five format with zero region restrictions for LAN tournaments, giving the best players and teams from all around the world the opportunity to compete in every tournament.

Our team arrived early to take part in the Pre LAN at Belong Stratford. Belong provide a a social space for the competitive gamers with custom high-powered YoYoTech gaming PC’s, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. Additionally, they provide HyperX peripherals readily available throughout our arenas, every game and gamer is catered for. We felt it was the perfect destination to prepare for CWL London after arriving in the capital. You can see the team arriving below.

How did we get on? Well, we were slightly dissapointed but we did have a good run enjoying the matches that we played against some very good teams. We had a couple of strong wins. The first was against Fierece Esports. We won Hardpoint 250 - 77 and SND 6-0. This was our strongest win and set us up for the day.

Our second was against Obtained Esports. It was quite close on Hardpoint but we ran away with it 6 -1 on SND.

Our next LAN will King of Nordic in CS:GO. Please look out for us at the event as our CS:GO Academy team will be taking part!
