VAL CS:GO Season 2 League - Preseason Stage

Over the next upcoming days until the 14th of June, teams will battle it out in groups to decide which division they will compete in during the inseason stage.

How does the preseason stage work?

Each team has been put into a group of 4 teams and will play against each other once in a best of 1 match. Once all teams have played each other once, they will be given a seed respective to where they placed in their group and will face the same seed from the opposing group for a division spot. For example:

Group A - Team 1 will compete against Group B - Team 1 for a division 1 or division 2 spot. The winner will go into division 1 and the loser will go into division 2. Group A - Team 2 will compete against Group B - Team 2 for a division 3 or division 4 spot. The winner will go into division 3 and the loser will go into division 4. Group A - Team 3 will compete against Group B - Team 3 for a division 5 or division 6 spot. The winner will go into division 5 and the loser will go into division 6. Group A - Team 4 will compete against Group B - Team 4 for a division 7 or division 8 spot. The winner will go into division 7 and the loser will go into division 8.

Once this is decided, we move onto the inseason stage.
